Coyote-Powered 1956 Ford F-100 Is One Beautiful Brute: Video

Though we’ll never find consensus on the subject, many Blue Oval fans consider the 1956 Ford F-100 to be the most beautiful pickup ever produced. There’s just something about those round fenders and that simple yet handsome design that gets us every time, whether we’re looking at bone stock pickups for highly modified ones like this stunning 1956 Ford F-100 currently up for grabs on eBay.

Fresh off a total renovation, work on this classy pickup was just completed four months ago, and it has traveled just 700 miles since. That major surgery starts on the outside, where we find a super smooth body that’s been hammered to perfection and covered in super-attractive paint. The vintage pickup rolls on American Racing wheels that measure in at 20×9 inches up front and 20×12 inches out back, with massive 335-series rubber in the rear.

Everything underneath the F-100’s timeless bodywork is essentially brand new, too. That includes a full TCI chassis that’s been powdercoated red and fitted with adjustable coilovers, a four-link rear suspension, a 9-inch Ford rear differential, and Wilwood brakes at all four corners.

The drivetrain consists of a Ford 5.0L Coyote V8 fitted with a Ford Motorsport control pack, Painless wiring, headers, and dual three-inch exhaust. It’s backed up by a Ford 6R80 automatic transmission for easy cruising, which the new owner will obviously want to do a lot of.

That’s especially true considering how nice the interior is. The cabin is fitted with a host of modern amenities including a Vintage Air HVAC system, power seats, power windows, Dakota Digital gauges, and a Bluetooth stereo system. Pretty much everything is covered in leather for a luxurious look and feel.

This 1956 Ford F-100 is certainly special, though it’s also certainly pricey with a $169,999 asking price. But considering its top-notch build quality and the extensiveness of its upgrades, we don’t think that’s too far of a reach whatsoever.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

It may very well be the most beautiful pickup ever, the resto-mod in this presentation is almost to fine to driven-a big glass box sitting in an art museum wouldn’t be a bad idea! congrats to the team of craftsmen building this example, the world is a better place because of your efforts.
I wish an interview with the builder/builders had been included, along with the “before and afters”. Nonetheless, Great write up.
