Normally a “special” deal, such as cash back or reduced financing is done to help sell stock vehicles. To hear the fan boys talk, there should be lines, people camping outside for weeks, just to catch a glimpse of a new BS, to be able to actually purchase one maybe just a dream. But here in the real world, ford is already offering discounts on the soccer mom mobiles. This early “roll out” discount does not bode well for the projected residual value(s) of the mexican made, unibody 4×4.
