Ford Explorer Discount Drops Price By $5,500 In January 2021

During January 2021, a new Ford Explorer discount drops the price of every 2020 model by $5,500. The offer, however, is only available in select markets. The Blue Oval is also offering interest-free financing for qualifying buyers in select markets, and is combining the zero-percent offer with a cash allowance.

Interested parties may like to know that, on average, this month’s featured offer appears are not as generous as recent offers for the sixth-generation Explorer.

Ford Explorer Incentives

Ford Explorer discount offers for January 2021 vary slightly by region. We’re providing the largest discounts in four major U.S. markets below:

  • New York:
    • 2020 Explorer: $5,500 total cash discount
  • Detroit:
    • 2020 Explorer: $2,000 total cash discount
    • 2021 Explorer: $1,500 total cash discount
  • Miami:
    • 2020 Explorer: $2,750 total cash discount + 0 percent APR for 72 months
      • A $3,500 total cash discount is also available for buyers who wish to forego the special interest offer
    • 2021 Explorer: $1,250 total cash discount + 1.9 percent APR for 60 months
  • Los Angeles:
    • 2020 Explorer: $2,500 total cash discount

All of the aforementioned offers will remain valid through the beginning of March 2021.

  • XLT – $38,565
  • Limited – $49,970

  • XLT – $35,890
  • Limited – $47,595
  • ST – $54,495
  • Platinum – $56,370

As exclusively reported by Ford Authority, the 2021 Ford Explorer will soon gain two more trim levels – King Ranch and Timberline, thereby expanding the range to seven available models.
