If there’s one thing that Ford Mustang owners can never get enough of, it’s horsepower and torque. Luckily, there are many, many ways to add a lot more. One of the newest comes to us from Corsa Performance, makers of exhaust systems and other performance accessories. Corsa has just rolled out a new 2018+ Ford Mustang GT air intake that adds up to 20 horsepower and 11 pound-feet of torque, all in around 30 minutes of installation time.
Corsa’s Mustang GT air intake is available in either dry or oiled filtration and is backed by a lifetime warranty. The closed-box design protects the filter from external debris and dirt and features a filter rated to last up to 50k miles with no maintenance, yet it still flows 18 percent better than the stock unit. The air intakes fit 2018-2020 Ford Mustang GT models equipped with Ford’s 5.0L Coyote V8.
The air intakes come with either a reusable DryTech 3D filter or MaxFlow oiled filter that shields engine heat from the intake and reduces airflow temperatures. Corsa claims a 98 percent-plus filtration efficiency in a package that’s a true bolt-on job. The Mustang GT air intake is designed to work in tandem with Corsa’s exhaust systems, too.
Though no custom tune is required after installing the Corsa air intake, the company does note that even more power can be extracted when using one. On top of all that, the intake looks pretty cool too, with a clear window displaying the air filter that features a Corsa Performance logo emblazoned on the front. It certainly looks better than the factory air box, flows much better, and provides a pretty decent return of power-per-dollar, so what’s not to like?
We’ll have more cool performance parts like this to share soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Mustang news and non-stop Ford news coverage.

Oh joy ………. Another CAI that will eventually join the others in one’s scrap bin. If as with the others already on the market, this will achieve maximum gains only at WOT. I suppose for the go nowhere, cars ‘n coffee crowd, this will go good with their fully LED illuminated and chromed out, multi colored engine compartment. Given time, someone will install pulsating, multi-colored LED inside it. (gah!)
And, where are the real time dyno sheets?
