Take A Virtual Tour Of The 2021 Ford Bronco Two-Door Badlands: Video

As the winter drags on, there is a good bit of news to look forward to in the coming months – the arrival of the highly-anticipated 2021 Ford Bronco this summer. And as we inch closer to that major event, we’re starting to see more and more details regarding the reborn Ford Bronco. The latest comes to us from Bronco Nation, which has put together a thorough walkaround of an advanced pre-production Bronco Two-Door Badlands model.

This particular Bronco Two-Door Badlands is much further along than what we’ve seen to date, as this one is even equipped with the molded-in color hardtop instead of the late-availability black-painted hardtop. Finished in Oxford White, the Bronco has already had its doors removed, which gives us a sneak peek at the regular, non-Lux Package equipped interior.

That makes this Bronco a pretty basic build, with an 8-inch infotainment screen and no fancy amenities like heated seats or blind-spot monitoring. However, since it’s a Badlands trim, the Bronco does have everything off-roaders might want for the trails – things like locking front and rear differentials and stabilizer bar disconnect, as well as the Sasquatch Package and its 35-inch tires.

This particular Bronco is also fitted with rock rails and the modular front bumper and push bar. The seats are wrapped in Marine grade vinyl gray with orange stitching, which are manually adjustable so they can be hosed off without the owner having to worry about damaging anything. One area the Bronco is upgraded is in the drivetrain department, as it’s fitted with Ford’s 2.7L EcoBoost V6 and 10-speed automatic transmission.

For someone wanting to go off-road without spending a ton of coin, especially if they don’t have a frequent need to carry passengers in the back, this Bronco two-door Badlands certainly seems like a solid spec. And while we imagine that most buyers will opt for a four-door or go for things like the Lux Package, there will also be plenty of folks who just want a more simple, basic off-roader, and this spec certainly fits that bill.

We’ll have more on the Bronco very soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Bronco news and ongoing Ford news coverage.
