2021 Roush Stage 3 Ford Mustangs Are Being Assembled Right Now

After what feels like an extended wait for the 2021 Ford Mustang, the new model year pony car’s build and price configurator just launched, and the automaker revealed the first Mach 1s have been built at the Ford Flat Rock Assembly Plant and are on their way to dealers. Now, we also have proof that a new tuner model is coming soon, as this picture shows the first 2021 Roush Stage 3 Ford Mustangs heading down the assembly line.

These 2021 Roush Stage 3 Ford Mustangs will have quite a bit to offer when they hit the road, as they’ll all be packing a supercharged version of Ford’s 5.0L Coyote V8 that cranks out 750 horsepower and 670 pound-feet of torque. Available with either a 6-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission, the Stage 3 will reportedly do 0-60 as quickly as 3.6 seconds, with a quarter-mile time of 11.2 seconds. And if that isn’t enough, a 775 horsepower calibration is also newly available for the 2021 model year.

All 2021 Roush Stage 3 Ford Mustangs also come standard with the tuner’s cooling package, which consists of auxiliary coolers behind each of the high flow corner pockets, as well as heat-extracting fender vents and hood vents. Other notable bits in the R9 Aero Body Kit include wheel shrouds and an optional active carbon fiber rear spoiler.

Underneath, Roush gives Ford’s MagneRide suspension its own special tuning which, along with Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires, enables it to push 1.07gs on the skidpad. Inside the cabin, the Stage 3 is fitted with premium leather with various upgrades and color options to choose from, custom gauges, a boost gauge, and illuminated door sills, to go along with plenty of Roush embroidery.

Finished off with Jet Black-painted 20-inch Flowform wheels and a Stage 3 graphics package, the latest Roush Ford Mustang is indeed an enticing package and is also available with a host of optional upgrades for both the interior and exterior. The 2021 Roush Stage 3 Mustang is available to order now, and pricing starts out at $24,995, not including the donor car.

  1. Yeah, I’m gonna rush right out and put my order in (insert sarcasm here). Who the heck can afford it? Is y’all’s mortgage paid off? Ok, well, perhaps if y’all can put 10% down and secure a 15-30 year low interest loan… sheesh, where does it end?

    1. Do you feel better after your rant? Maybe everyone doesn’t live their lives like you. Maybe some people enjoy a nice car and CAN pay for it. Maybe you should insert yourself into a better job rather than inserting sarcasm!

  5. Sorry Lee, but there are a lot of people that can afford the cars. Like everything, it will be out of the price range for some people. I don’t comment negativity on things that I know I can’t afford or want.

To answer your question, yes some of us have our homes mortgage free, though that shouldn’t determine if a person can afford it or not.

I can say from an owners point of view, that the car is a great piece of machinery. Every single person that buys one, has probably dive the research and determined it is what they wanted to spend their money on.

Do you say the same thing about stock trucks, SUVs that sticker in the high $70-80k range?
