Lincoln Mexico Sales Decrease 47 Percent In December 2020

Lincoln Mexico sales totaled 105 units in December 2020, a decrease of 47 percent over December 2019.

Lincoln sales on an individual model basis were as follows:

During the complete 2020 calendar year, Lincoln Mexico sales decreased 43 percent to 970 units.

The Ford Authority Take

Lincoln Mexico sales decreased substantially in December 2020, closing the last calendar year with 12 consecutive months of contraction. As a result, year-to-date sales also suffered a drastic drop from 2019 levels.

As in previous months, the new Lincoln Aviator was the brand’s only model that saw positive performance during December. The three-row crossover tied for second place with the new Lincoln Corsair, with both models selling 28 units each. Meanwhile, the Lincoln Navigator finished as the marque’s best-selling model both during the month and the entire 2020 calendar year.
