The current, seventh-generation Ford Fiesta has been in production since 2017, which means that it’s due for a refresh, something that Ford’s European arm is already working on. Judging by the recently revealed Ford Equator and the leaked Ford Fusion/Mondeo crossover, it also seems like Ford might be heading in a different styling direction for its future products. Thus, digital artist Kleber Silva decided to apply those new styling features to create renderings of what he thinks the facelifted Ford Fiesta might look like.
Like those aforementioned models, the facelifted Ford Fiesta renderings depict a car that has much slimmer headlights than before, with LED daytime running lights. The upper portion of the oval-shaped front grille is also much larger than the current-gen Fiestas and features a matching lower grille with a visually interesting “3D” design in the center. The lower grille is framed by a set of fog lights, which are slightly different than the ones present on the Equator.
In the rear, the imaginary facelifted Ford Fiesta features taillights that run the entire width of the rear end, with a light bar connecting them, just like the Equator. However, the shape of the taillights is more rounded than the three-row SUV, which presents a much more squared-off appearance out back. A Blue Oval badge resides in the middle of the light bar, while the Fiesta badge is located on the liftgate beneath the lighting elements.

Overall, it’s a sharp design that makes a lot of sense. So far, most seem to be in favor of the Equator’s new look, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see it trickle down to other Blue Oval models across the globe. Whether or not that includes the Fiesta, well, we’ll just have to wait and see.
We’ll have more on the Fiesta very soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Fiesta news and non-stop Ford news coverage.
