The Ford Authority Take

Lincoln Mexico sales declined once again in March. The performance representing the 15th consecutive month of diminished sales volume at FoMoCo’s luxury brand in the Mexican market. Lincoln has been affected by the systematic decline in demand for vehicles in the Latin country, whose economy has further weakened due to adversities caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last month’s drop was marked by a notable contraction in sales of the new Lincoln Aviator, which a year earlier was the firm’s most popular vehicle. Under those circumstances, the Navigator remained Lincoln’s best-selling nameplate for the fourth consecutive month.
