Hot on the heels of adding a slew of new features and equipment to the Ford Ranger in Taiwan, Ford has now launched the new Focus ST Wagon SLS Edition in the same market. Packing a host of updates that separate it from the regular Focus ST, the Focus ST Wagon SLS Edition gives Taiwanese buyers a new, sporty option in the high-performance wagon market.
The ST Wagon SLS Edition comes equipped with what Ford calls its “Sports Performance Pack,” which adds unique ST badging, a rear spoiler, twin exhaust pipes, standard 18-inch Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, and a special ST track-level suspension with specially tuned shocks. An eLSD electronic limited-slip differential is standard, as is Ford’s EBB electronic brake booster assist system.
The SLS Edition is powered by Ford’s 2.3L EcoBoost I-4, which produces 276 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque, with the same anti-lag system found in the Ford GT. That power flows through a specially-tuned seven-speed gearbox to propel the wagon from 0-60 miles-per-hour in 6.1 seconds, with a top speed of 155 miles-per-hour. Up front, 13-inch brakes with dual-piston calipers, coupled with 12-inch brakes out back, help slow the car down in a hurry.
Owners can choose between four driving modes for optimal performance in all sorts of conditions, including Normal, Slippery/Wet, Sport, and Track. The ST SLS Edition also comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen running SYNC 3, a wireless phone charger, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, and Ford CoPilot360 with an array of driver-assist features.
Inside the cabin, carbon-fiber interior trim and ST-exclusive Recaro sports seats lend a sportier feel and additional support in the corners, while a flat-bottom steering wheel comes equipped with an “S” button and a “Mode” selection button built right in to allow the driver to quickly change between driving modes.

Had Ford offered this version of the Focus when I bought our Focus ST, this is the one I would have chosen.
Please quit teasing us with something we can’t have…:-(
I’d say “send it to the States,” but I know most people here won’t buy it.
I love myFocus and you keep putting out information on something we can’t get here. I don’t care what they have other places. I want to know what’s here. You get a good car and then stop making it here
