2021 Ford F-150

As of this writing, the 2021 Ford F-150 is available at the retail and fleet level, as the Ford Dearborn Truck plant and Ford Kansas City Assembly plant have been producing the truck since September and October of 2020, respectively. Unfortunately, the ongoing microchip shortage has severely impacted output at both facilities, so shoppers interested in models clad in Kodiak Brown should once again check with their dealers regarding pricing and availability of the light-duty trucks.

Ford Authority has extensively reported on the all-new, 14th generation 2021 Ford F-150, and the plethora of changes that arrived with the debut of the new model, which include the introduction of the first-ever hybrid F-150, powered by the Ford 3.5L PowerBoost V6. Additionally, the newly introduced truck features a myriad of tech and features enhancements and additions, like Sync 4, the Interior Work Surface, Max Recline Seats, Pro Power Onboard, and more. This summer, the F-150 will gain Onboard Scales, active suspension tech, an all-new Tremor off-road trim level, while also reintroducing the F-150 Raptor back into the lineup after a brief hiatus.

More exciting changes await the F-150 for the 2022 model year, as the paradigm-busting F-150 Lightning is expected to arrive at U.S. dealerships next spring as the first-ever full-size electric pickup from a traditional American automaker. 2. We ordered a F-150 in this color but have never seen it arrive. Lots of talk tales from Ford but no vehicle. For months we were told we were ahead of the chip problem, then it became a tale off sitting on a lot in the Midwest getting the paint weathered. Now we are told to believe it is “sometime in October”.By then Kodiak Brown will be Delay Beige.
