The Ford Authority Take

Ford Argentina sales declined once again in July, becoming the third consecutive month of contraction for the Blue Oval Brand in the country. The negative behavior is due to a notable reduction in vehicle supply after the cessation of Ford vehicle production in Brazil, along with low demand for vehicles in the Argentine market.

As such, most Ford models sold in Argentina suffered significant declines in sales volume during July. However, three nameplates – Mustang, Ranger, and Transit – managed to post increases on a year-over-year basis. The most prominent was the Ranger, whose notable increase in volume continues to make it the brand’s best-selling model in the South American country.
