2021 Ford Bronco Sport Baja Forged Enhances The Badlands: SEMA 2021

Off-road parts company Baja Forged is no stranger to The Blue Oval, as it already makes and sells a wide variety of upgraded components for the Ford Ranger, Ford Super Duty, Ford F-150 Raptor, and Ford Expedition. The Ford Bronco Sport seems like the logical next step, and that’s precisely what we see here – the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Baja Forged, which will make its public debut next month at the 2021 SEMA Show alongside one other custom Bronco Sport and three custom Ford Bronco models.

The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Baja Forged is based on a Badlands model and was created with the help of Sara Morosan, co-owner of LGE-CTS Motorsports. The build features a host of parts from the Ford Performance Parts and Ford Licensed Accessories catalog, including rock sliders, a two-inch suspension lift, fender flares, a roof-mounted light bar, and off-road rock lights, all of which help make the crossover even more capable off-road than it was, to begin with.

Of course, Baja Forged also supplied a bevy of upgrades for the Bronco Sport, including the front and rear tubular bumpers. Warn Industries provided the VR EVO winch, while a Factor 55 hook and an aluminum fairlead further enhance the build. In addition to the aforementioned Ford lighting, Rigid also provided a host of additional LED components to light up the trails, no matter how dark it gets.

Meanwhile, the suspension was enhanced with an ICON Vehicle Dynamics suspension system and Hellwig front and rear sway bars, while Ford’s 2.0L EcoBoost I-4 gets a bit more sound and performance courtesy of a Borla cat-back exhaust. And since this is a SEMA build, the exterior of the Bronco Sport features a livery that fittingly looks like it belongs in an off-road race, which complements the crossover’s hardware perfectly.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
