The Ford Authority Take

Ford Argentina sales suffered another double-digit decline in August. The results represent The Blue Oval brand’s fourth consecutive sales decrease in the South American country. The cessation of FoMoCo’s production in Brazil is the primary reason for the declne.

Although many Ford models registered notable drops year-over-year, there are a few standout results, particularly those of the Ford Ranger, Territory, Transit and F-Series. The Ranger midsize pickup, produced locally in Argentina, continues to establish itself as the best-selling Ford vehicle in Argentina as well as all of South America.
