The Ford F-150 has always been a popular vehicle to modify, a fact that has also spurned quite the aftermarket explosion of parts and accessories. That includes, most recently, Black Ovals, new Method wheels, an off-road suspension leveling kit, and a new supercharger kit for Ford’s 5.0L Coyote V8 – all of which are available through the Ford Performance catalog. Now, that same catalog has expanded yet again, this time to offer a pair of 2021-2022 Ford F-150 sport exhaust systems.
First up, we have part number M-5200-FSCS, which is a chrome side-exit sport exhaust for Ford F-150 models equipped with the 2.7L EcoBoost V6, 3.5L EcoBoost V6, or 5.0L Coyote V8. This exhaust system fits F-150 models with either a 145 or 157-inch wheelbase, though the latter requires a mid-pipe extension. It is not compatible with 122 or 141-inch wheelbase trucks (regular cab models with a 6.5 or 8-foot bed). This sport exhaust is made from 304 stainless steel with a dual side-exit design and four-inch stainless tips, reportedly gives the pickup an “aggressive and sporty” sound, and retails for $1,495.
Next up, we have part number M-5200-FSBS, which is essentially exactly the same as the chrome sport exhaust but it comes with black chrome-plated four-inch exhaust tips. Fitment is exactly the same, as is the price, and like the chrome sport exhaust, the black-tipped unit boasts superior craftsmanship with smooth bends and wrap-free flanges.
Both of these brand new 2021-2022 Ford F-150 sport exhaust systems are available to purchase now, giving owners of the most popular truck on the planet yet another option to modify it to their liking, or just coax a little more sound out of their powerplants.
We’ll have more new parts and accessories to share soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Ford F-Series news, Ford F-150 news, and continuous Ford news coverage.
