As Ford Authority previously reported, Ford Performance has recently added a number of new Ford F-150 parts to its ever-growing catalog, including Black Ovals, new Method wheels, an off-road suspension leveling kit, a new supercharger kit for Ford’s 5.0L Coyote V8, and two different types of sport exhaust systems. Now, FoMoCo has also added a pair of 2021-2022 Ford F-150 touring exhaust systems to its catalog, which gives owners yet another option to customize their pickup.
The first 2021-2022 Ford F-150 touring exhaust system is listed under part number M-5200-FTCS and features chrome-plated four-inch stainless steel tips. The side-exit exhaust system itself is also constructed from 304 stainless steel and features ultra-smooth mandrel bends, warp-free flanges, and superior craftsmanship, according to the automaker.
Up next, we have part number M-5200-FTBS, which is a 2021-2022 F-150 touring exhaust system with black chrome-plated four-inch exhaust tips. Outside of that difference, these two exhaust systems are identical in every measurable way. Ford Performance’s new touring exhaust systems for the F-150 fit models equipped with Ford’s 2.7L EcoBoost V6, 3.5L EcoBoost V6, or 5.0L Coyote V8, with either a 145 or 157-inch wheelbase, though the latter requires a mid-pipe extension. These exhaust systems are not compatible with 122 or 141-inch wheelbase trucks (regular cab models with a 6.5 or 8-foot bed).
Ford’s new F-150 touring exhaust systems are designed to provide “an aggressive and throaty high-performance sound” according to the automaker, and are available to purchase now via Ford Performance’s catalog for a retail price of $1,495, giving owners of the most popular truck on the planet yet another option to modify it to their liking, or just coax a little more sound out of their powerplants.
