The Ford Mustang has long been an incredibly popular vehicle to customize, and that continues to be the case today, as evidenced by the fact that the 2021 Ford Mustang was recently named 2021 SEMA Car of the Year. There were countless custom pony cars at this year’s SEMA Show, as usual, but perhaps the most striking was this 2021 Ford Mustang Premium High Performance coupe built by All Star out of Lake Forest, California.
This 2021 Ford Mustang Premium is designed to be the ultimate street machine, and as such, began life as the high-performance version of the base pony car, which is fitted with Ford’s high-output 2.3L EcoBoost I-4 and the automaker’s 10-speed automatic transmission. To that base, All Star added a few upgrades, including a Ford Performance air/oil separator, a Cobb front-mounted intercooler, and a Cobb cold-air intake.
Underneath, All Star added an Autotuned Air Lift air suspension, RTR sway bars, and Baer brakes with six-piston monoblock calipers and two-piece rotors. The custom Mustang rolls on a set of 20×10-inch front and 20×11-inch rear Vossen LC2-A1 wheels with Vossen aluminum lug nuts, which are wrapped with Falken Azenis FK510 tires measuring 275/35 up front and 315/35 in the rear.
The exterior of the All Star Mustang is really what makes it stand out, however. There, the pony car features Ice White taillights from the Ford catalog, Thule Wingbar Evo 135 roof rack crossbars, Anderson Composites carbon fiber aero parts, custom Circuit Demon headlights and taillights, custom shaped Almond surfboards, and of course, that unique custom teal paint.
Inside, this Mustang has been treated to Ford Accessories all-weather floor mats, a cargo area protector, battery jump start pack, and custom white leather Katzkin seats with orange stitching. The whole thing ties together quite well, and lends a truly fresh look to a car that’s been customized in just about every way possible over the last several decades.
