Ford Motor Company China Sales Up 11.9 Percent In Q4 2021

Ford Motor Company China sales increased 11.9 percent to 167,000 units during the fourth quarter of 2021. The automaker offers its two core brands – Ford and Lincoln – in the Asian country, as well as a China-only brand called JMC under the Jiangling-Ford joint venture.

“Ford starts 2022 with strong momentum from the execution of our China 2.0 plans centered on a robust portfolio and electrification,” said President and CEO of Ford China, Anning Chen, in a statement. “The steady rollout of new vehicles – including the locally built Ford Mustang Mach-E, Ford EVOS and Lincoln Zephyr – combined with the launch of Ford’s network of direct-to-customer battery electric vehicle stores positions us well for growth ahead,” he added.
