Ford UK Receives 2022 Employees’ Choice Award

Ford has earned plenty of recognition for its favorable working environment in recent years, including being named one of the best places to work by the LGBTQ Equality by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), one of the best companies for young professionals in Mexico, and one of the best places to work for those with disabilities. Now, Ford UK has joined this distinctive list after receiving a 2022 Employees’ Choice Award from Glassdoor – a provider of insights regarding both jobs and companies.

Ford UK was one of just 50 companies to earn the award and the only automotive manufacturer to make Glassdoor’s list. The company currently holds an average score of 4.2 out of 5.0 with over 9,000 employee reviews on the site. The 2022 Employees’ Choice Award is based on those reviews, which are provided anonymously by employees who rate their job, working environment, and the employer itself over the course of the previous year.

“This achievement is only possible because of your hard work and effort, so thank you,” said Surinder Birdi, HR Director, Manufacturing and Employee Relations for Ford UK. “We focused a lot on diversity in recent years, and that’s a key contributor to making Ford such a great place to work.”

“The world of work is rapidly evolving, fueled by the pandemic and now millions of workers re-evaluating their expectations of employers,” said Christian Sutherland-Wong, Glassdoor Chief Executive Officer. “This year’s Best Places to Work winners are leading the way by listening and responding to employee feedback and reimagining the employee experience to truly put their people first. It’s inspiring to see these employers step up during the pandemic to expand and grow company cultures where employees feel supported and valued in and out of work. Congratulations to all of this year’s Employees’ Choice Award winners.”
