Ford Performance has been on a roll recently, at least when it comes to late model Ford F-150 exhaust systems. As Ford Authority previously reported, it now offers several different types of exhaust systems for the light duty pickup. Fortunately, it hasn’t forgotten about 2020-2022 Ford Super Duty, as a pair of Sport exhaust systems recently appeared on the Ford Performance Parts website, for trucks equipped with the Ford 7.3L V8.
Listed in the Ford Performance catalog under part number M-5200-FSD73SC, the 2020-2022 Ford Super Duty 7.3L Sport Exhaust, like all Ford Performance Sport systems, is engineered to produce an “aggressive and throaty high performance sound” that is presumably a bit more thrilling than its stock counterpart. It is a dual side exit unit with chrome plated 4.5-inch stainless steel exhaust tips that also features ultra-smooth mandrel bends, warp-free flanges, and “superior craftmanship.” Every exhaust is constructed in the U.S. from high quality 304 stainless steel.
In terms of fitment, it fits 7.3L trucks with 142-inch, 148-inch, 160-inch, 164-inch, and 175.5-inch wheelbases. Interested buyers can obtain one for $1,395 but that does not include a warranty. Additionally, a similar model with black tips is available for the same price.
The Ford Super Duty and larger F-Series family have been blessed by Ford Performance with a slate of new accessories and parts. As Ford Authority previously reported, owners can now purchase black ovals for their trucks, which come standard on several newer appearance packages but are a relatively new phenomenon. More substantially, Ford Performance now offers Method wheels for the F-150, and is planning on introducing an off-road suspension leveling kit and supercharger kit for the light duty pickup this year.
