2022 Ford Bronco Raptor In Shadow Black: Real World Photo Gallery

The 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor was revealed last month wearing a familiar Ford Performance color – Code Orange – and Ford Authority spies spotted the rugged SUV finished in that color just a couple of weeks later. Last week, those same spies spotted the new model finished in Iconic Silver for the very first time, and now, we have photos of a Shadow Black 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor to share as well.

The Bronco Raptor is easily to distinguish from other models in the Ford Bronco lineup thanks to its aggressive styling, which starts up front with a bold “FORD” grille, unique headlights with amber daytime running lights, and integrated amber marking lamps, just like the F-150 Raptor. The Bronco Raptor also comes equipped with Ford’s Heavy-Duty Modular front bumper, which has been fitted with tow hooks, removable bumper end caps, integrated removable Rigid LED fog lamps, and Rigid off-road lamps. Up top, the SUV features a muscular hood finished in molded-in-color Carbon Black with an integrated vent and a pair of Raptor badges.

Moving down the side, the Bronco Raptor features unique front and rear quarter-panels, fenders, fender flares, door appliques, functional integrated bodyside heat extraction ducts, and reinforced rock rails with removable running boards, all of which help make the Bronco Raptor 9.8 inches wider than a standard model. Those large fender flares cover a set of 17×8.5-inch beadlock-capable wheels, which are wrapped in beefy 37×12.50R17LT BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tires.

In the rear, the Bronco Raptor is fitted with unique taillights, as well as a beefier spare tire carrier on the tailgate to support the larger and heavier wheel and tire mounted on the tailgate.

2021 Bronco reservation holders will get first dibs on a 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor, though those folks won’t be eligible for the same price protection offered on other 2022 Bronco models when the high-performance off-roader launches this summer.

We’ll be more on the Bronco Raptor soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Ford Bronco news and ongoing Ford news coverage.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

  2. I’m not a fan of these “Raptors”…
All they did was put wide stick-on fender flares and bumpers that don’t line up with the body lines.
The beauty of the F150 Raptor is the modified body panels along with the suspension changes.

    1. You obviously haven’t been paying attention. The Bronco Raptor has as many, if not more, suspension upgrades as the F-150 Raptor. It also has a higher output drivetrain than other Broncos. What high performance vehicles is Pontiac building these days? Oh wait…

  6. I would like to get a Raptor Hybrid Bronco with the big battery that can power a home for a couple of days like the F150 lightning can. Available features; snorkel, front bull bar and bash-plate. Heads up display with 360 degree day and night vision cameras.
