FoMoCo has been on a bit of a hot streak in terms of demand for its latest products in recent months. In fact, both the Ford Bronco and its little brother, the Ford Bronco Sport, landed on iSeeCars’ best-selling used cars list, mainly as a byproduct of the fact that those models are proving difficult to find new. Strong demand has pushed prices higher, prompting many owners to flip those vehicles for a profit. Now, it seems that the same phenomenon rings true for the Ford Mustang Mach-E, which was also among the top 20 fastest-selling used vehicles in January.
Used Ford Mustang Mach-E examples took an average of 27.7 days to sell last month at an average transaction price of $58,744. The former number was good enough to make the EV crossover the 7th fastest-selling used vehicle in January, behind the Tesla Model Y (24.7 days to sell), Toyota Prius Prime (25.8 days), Honda Insight (25.9 days), Tesla Model 3 (26.5 days), Toyota Prius (26.7 days), and Toyota Corolla Hybrid (27.6 days). With the exception of the Model Y, the Mach-E also had a far higher average transaction price than any of those vehicles.
“The Mustang Mach-E, the Ford Bronco, and the Ford Bronco Sport have all been in high demand since their debut last year, and this demand has exceeded supply as inventory shortages have led to long waitlists for each vehicle,” said iSeeCars Executive Analyst Karl Brauer.
Meanwhile, the Mach-E is turning in just 14 days on dealer lots as the all-electric crossover continues to earn accolades. Most recently, those include ranking second on J.D. Power’s 2022 U.S. Electric Vehicle Experience (EVX) Ownership Study, joining Consumer Reports‘ list of recommended vehicles, ranking as one of the most satisfying electric SUVs to own, and earning CR‘s Top EV Pick for 2022, displacing the Model 3, which held that honor for the previous two years.
We’ll have more on the Mach-E soon, so be sure and subscribe to Ford Authority for more Mustang Mach-E news and ongoing Ford news coverage.
