Watch The 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor Reveal & Live Stream Right Here

Over the past several months, Ford Authority has reported extensively on the all-new, next-generation 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor, publishing numerous spy photos of the rugged off-roader and revealing a number of exclusive details. Now, the long wait for the next-gen Ranger Raptor’s official reveal is finally almost over, as it’s set to be unveiled tomorrow, February 22nd at 9 am SAST, or 2 am EST, and Ford Authority readers can view the whole thing as it happens via the video embedded below.

Ford Ranger Raptor

On the outside, the 2023 Ranger Raptor will share many of its styling cues with the next-gen Ranger – which was revealed in international market form last November. However, the Ranger Raptor will feature several unique features both inside and outside that will distinguish it from regular models, as Ford Authority exclusively reported earlier this month. Those include unique black wheels wrapped in beefy BFGoodrich tires, a “Ford” script grille, and Code Red accents, as well as a large infotainment screen inside the cabin.

The 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor will also be a bit shorter than the current model, with a longer wheelbase and about 75 pounds less weight to lug around, as Ford Authority exclusively reported last week. Under the hood, the high-performance off-roader will be powered by Ford’s 3.0L EcoBoost V6 – just like the Ford Bronco Raptor – as Ford Authority exclusively reported last year. Those two vehicles also share the Ford T6 Platform, and both were spied testing next to each other on multiple occasions over the past few months.

Known internally by the project name “Redback,” the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor will start out at $52,500, as Ford Authority exclusively reported early this month, and sources say it may launch in North America for the 2024 model year.
