Roush has offered a variety of Ford parts and accessories over the years, including turnkey performance-focused vehicles, too. Most recently, those wares include the Roush Stage 3 Ford Mustang (which is 50-state emissions legal), the Ford Bronco R Series kit and axle-back exhaust system, and an air induction kit for the Bronco as well. Now, those that are seeking an alternative to the regular old Ford Ranger or off-road focused Ranger Tremor have a new choice in the form of the 2022 Roush Ranger, which has just been revealed.
The 2022 Roush Ranger features a variety of upgrades in virtually every department, starting on the outside. There, the FoMoCo’s mid-size pickup has been treated to a Roush front grille with dual built-in LED light bars, Magnetic Gray-painted fender flares with integrated accent lighting, functional fender vent badging, red tow hooks, a Roush hitch cover, a tailgate badge, 18-inch satin black Roush wheels with locking lug nuts, and 32-inch General Tire Grabber ATX all-terrain tires.
Inside the cabin, the Roush Ranger receives premium leather seating with quilted stitching and Roush embroidery, Roush gauges, Roush floor liners, a serialized dash-mounted badge, a certificate of authenticity, and Roush “R” key fobs. Both a center console vault and a rear seat vault are available as options.
In terms of performance, Roush gives the Ranger’s 2.3L EcoBoost I-4 a bit of an upgrade with a dual-tip cat-back exhaust, along with the tuner’s performance suspension package. Those that want more can get it in the form of an optional off-road utility kit, upper stripe, and rocker stripe packages.
All 2022 Roush Ranger models begin with XLT-trimmed pickups equipped with either the 301A or 302A packages. Customers can choose from nine exterior color options, including the new-for-2022 Hot Pepper Red Metallic. The Roush Ranger comes with a 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty and starts out at $13,250, plus the cost of the donor pickup.
