As of this writing, the 2022 Lincoln Aviator in Gilded Green Metallic is available at dealers, as the Ford Chicago Assembly plant has been producing the three-row luxury crossover since August 2021. Shoppers interested in the Aviator coated in the Gilded Green hue should check with their local dealer for availability.
The 2022 Lincoln Aviator represents the third model year of the current, second-generation Aviator, which launched for the 2020 model year. Ford Authority has extensively covered the changes to the luxury crossover for 2022, including price reductions across most trim levels, and the introduction of the new Jet Package, which replaces the previously-available Monochromatic Package. In addition, the 2022 Aviator also saw a noticeable reduction in the crossover’s maximum towing capability.
It is worth noting that Lincoln parent company, FoMoCo, has already begun preparing for the introduction of the 2023 Lincoln Aviator by opening the order banks and setting the production time. Additionally, an electric version of the Aviator is in the works, but the upcoming model has been delayed by 18 months.
We’ll have more on the 2022 Lincoln Aviator soon, so subscribe to Ford Authority for the latest Lincoln Aviator news, Lincoln news, and continuous Ford news coverage.

Producing ARMY cars now?
Want is wrong with Ford? I hate all these dark drab ugly colors. Need more lighter tones.
I remember the full spread of color choices including 2-tone’s in the 1970’s. yellows, reds, browns, golds all in various shades from light, medium and dark.
The green would not look as bad if paired with a greenish tinge silver or lighter shade green. Remember the jade green luxury edition Lincoln’s with mix-n-match colors for individuality.
