Edelbrock Ford F-150 Turbo Kit Adds 200 Horsepower To Limited, Raptor

The Ford F-150 is no stranger to modifications, including those in the power department. There are many forced induction offerings available via the aftermarket, though most of those are supercharger kits for Ford’s 5.0L Coyote V8. However, a new Stage 3 Edelbrock Ford F-150 turbo kit for Limited and Raptor models promises to add a significant 200 wheel horsepower to those applications’ high-output twin-turbocharged 3.5L EcoBoost V6, which is certainly impressive.

The new Stage 3 Edelbrock Ford F-150 turbo kit is designed to fit 2017-2020 F-150 Raptor and Limited models equipped with the H.O. version of Ford’s 3.5L EcoBoost V6, and picks up where the iconic company’s Stage 2 kit leaves off with even more power potential. The kit comes with everything that offering includes, plus an electronic fuel pump booster, Stage 3 calibration, and a tuner, all of which is designed to add a cool 200 wheel horsepower to a motor that already makes 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque at the crank.

Edelbrock collaborated with Garrett on the kit’s upgraded turbochargers, which increase airflow by 54 percent over the stock units, yet are a direct bolt-on replacement. Other highlights include a 60mm billet compressor wheel, a 50 mm Inconnel turbine wheel, a larger .45 A/R stainless steel turbine housing, 2.75″ compressor inlets, and high flow turbo inlet piping. Turbine flow increases by 52 percent over the stock setup, while while the compressor inlets are 38 percent larger.

Edelbrock’s Stage 3 kit also comes with a larger intercooler, air inlet tubes, and a high flow air filter, as well as a pre-loaded calibration that is EPA legal. The company says that the entire kit is easy to install with no fabrication required, which makes it pretty enticing for owners of second-gen F-150 Raptors or Limited pickups at its retail price of $6,559.94.
