WOWEE! I’d better rush to my Ford dealer. Not in my wildest dreams. I’d certainly wait for the ’23 MCR, at a minimum. I was totally turned off by these a few weeks ago while on vacation. In a beach area, I saw tons of them and was shocked by how small they look, compared to the similar-size competition. At one point, a VW Taos seemed bigger when it’s quite a bit smaller. Come to think of it, it needs a total redesign for me to buy one. It’s called buyer pushback and get used to that phrase because it’s starting.

Every one has their own opinion. Personally I love the style of the current Escape. To me it looks more like a car. If you want a truck, order a Maverick, Bronco, or an Edge. Ford has plenty of truckish looking vehicles, they don’t need another one by ruining the looks of the Escape. But the bottom line $$$ will decide what the next one looks like.
