Ford Maverick XL Hybrid Wins 2022 Best Fleet Value In America Award

As an extremely affordable, compact, and fuel-efficient new vehicle, the 2022 Ford Maverick was expected to be popular with fleet buyers before it even launched. That has certainly been the case thus far, as quite a few business owners have found the Maverick to be rather useful for a wide variety of needs. Now, Vincentric has acknowledged that fact by giving the Ford Maverick XL Hybrid a 2022 Best Fleet Value in America Award – an honor that was also recently bestowed upon the Ford Transit Connect and Ford Super Duty F-350 XL.

The Ford Maverick XL Hybrid took home top honors in the small truck category thanks in large part to the fact that it presents the lowest maintenance costs and operating costs, as well as the best fuel economy in its class. Currently, the Maverick XL Hybrid is only offered in front-wheel drive configuration, and thus, that’s precisely the one that earned a 2022 Best Fleet Value in America Award.

Vincentric determines the winners of this particular award after the organization performs a cost of ownership analysis on over 2,000 vehicle configurations based on typical fleet use. Vincentric considers eight different cost factors – depreciation, fees and taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost, and repairs – to evaluate each vehicle in all 50 U.S. states using 28 different lifecycle scenarios. The winners of this year’s awards were chosen by determining which present the lowest fleet lifecycle cost in the most scenarios within its segment.
