The Ford Authority Take

After experiencing a positive streak since the final quarter of 2021, Ford Motor Company Mexico sales saw a drop in March. In fact, last month’s results bring an end to five consecutive months of the automaker’s sales growth in the Mexican market, with half a dozen Ford-branded models posting significant year-over-year declines.

Although the Lincoln brand and most of Ford’s updated utility vehicles saw healthy gains during March, a notable drop in the sales volume of the automaker’s three best-selling models in the local market – the F-Series, Ranger and Figo – weighed down the overall result. It’s worth noting, however, that the Ford F-Series managed to post an uptick in sales volume compared to that of the first two months of the year, thereby remaining the company’s best seller.

It’s also worth highlighting the solid performance of the new Ford Bronco Sport, which is domestically manufactured in Mexico. The rugged compact utility vehicle achieved one of its best monthly sales results in that country, positioning itself as Ford’s second best-selling vehicle in the Mexican market.

  1. Old Henry didn’t want anything to do with the crooks in Wall Street.
Sad day in 1956 when the kids put Ford on the market.
The Market has never been kind to Ford like it has to GM.
Because GM would rather take care of investors than product or employees.
