A Ford Mustang discount features a 5.9 percent APR financing offer for 2021 models during April 2022. Meanwhile, a 6.9 percent APR financing offer is available for 2022 models. Ford is no longer offering manufacturer incentives for 2020 Mustang models.
It’s also worth noting that the range-topping Mach 1 and Shelby GT500 continue to be excluded from the manufacturer incentives, which has been the case since the introduction of both models.
Ford Mustang Discount Offers
As mentioned above, the only Ford Mustang discount offers available during April 2022 include 5.9 percent APR financing for 84 months on 2021 models and 6.9 percent financing for 84 months for 2022 models.
These incentives are very conservative as a result of healthy demand and tight supply of the Mustang, a circumstance brought about by the current pandemic. FoMoCo continues to grapple with ongoing supply shortages, including but not limited to the well-publicized microchip shortage. The latest estimates put the chip shortage as lasting a minimum of six months starting in January 2022.

2021 Coupe
- EcoBoost Fastback – $27,205
- EcoBoost Premium Fastback – $32,225
- GT Fastback – $36,285

2021 Convertible
- EcoBoost Convertible – $32,705
- EcoBoost Premium Convertible – $37,725
- GT Premium Convertible – $45,785
2022 Coupe
- EcoBoost Fastback – $27,205
- EcoBoost Premium Fastback – $32,225

It’s worth noting that the Mustang Bullitt as well as the Shelby GT350 have been discontinued after the 2020 model year. Both models have been indirectly replaced by the 2021 Mustang Mach 1.
