2022 Lincoln Navigator Adds Chroma Caviar Dark Gray Color: First Look

The 2022 Lincoln Navigator adds four new colors to its roster: Starlight Gray, Manhattan Green, Ocean Drive Blue, and Chroma Caviar Dark Gray. Here’s our first look at the new gray option.

Assigned order code XF, Chroma Caviar Dark Gray is one of ten colors available on the 2022 Lincoln Navigator. These colors include:

  • Pristine White Metallic
  • Flight Blue Metallic
  • Ceramic Pearl Metallic
  • Silver Radiance Metallic
  • Infinite Black Metallic
  • Chroma Chrystal Blue Metallic
  • Starlight Gray (new for 2022)
  • Manhattan Green Metallic (new for 2022)
  • Chroma Caviar Dark Gray Metallic (new for 2022)
  • Ocean Drive Blue Metallic (new for 2022)

The new gray color, which is a $1,750 option, is only available on the range-topping Black Label trim, meaning it is not available on the Navigator (base) or Reserve trim levels.

Additionally, the new color is available in conjunction with the Chalet, Invitation and Central Park interior themes, but not with the Yacht Club colorway.

2022 Lincoln Navigator Interior Color Combinations:

Production of the 2022 Navigator began in January 2022, and units have been arriving at Lincoln dealerships across the U.S. Interested buyers looking to purchase the Navi in the Chroma Caviar Dark Gray color should contact their local dealer for availability info, since inventory is limited.

It is also worth noting that the Ford Kentucky Truck plant, which builds the Navigator, has faced continued production setbacks as a result of, but not limited to, the ongoing microchip shortage.

The 2022 Lincoln Navigator received a refresh consisting of several changes and updates, which Ford Authority has extensively covered. On the outside, the full-size luxury SUV features revised front and rear fascias, while the interior gets a larger infotainment screen and an updated rear-seat entertainment system dubbed Lincoln Play. Incidentally, the rear seat entertainment system has been delayed.

In addition, a number of new interior themes join the lineup for the 2022 model year, including the Black Label-only Central Park and Invitation, as well as unique wood appliques including Espresso Ash Swirl and Santos Redwood.
