The Ford Authority Take

After 11 consecutive months of being in the red, Ford Argentina sales finally posted a healthy growth in April. The increase is the result of FoMoCo managing to improve the availability (supply) of its best-selling models in the Argentine market.

The growth in Ford Argentina sales during April was led by significant improvements in the best-selling EcoSport and Ranger. The subcompact crossover achieved an impressive triple-digit increase, adding 377 units year-over-year, and consolidating its place as the second-best-selling Ford model during the month. Meanwhile, the Ford Ranger maintained its position as the best-selling Ford model, posting an uptick in sales volume as a result of the increase in inventory.

For their part, the Ford Territory and Transit also achieved higher sales volumes during April as well as during the first four months of the 2022 calendar year. Additionally, the all-new Ford Maverick pickup recorded its best sales performance to date in Argentina with 125 units.
