Lincoln Aviator Shinola Concept: Live Photo Gallery

Lincoln Motor Company revealed the Lincoln Aviator Shinola Concept in August 2021. Now, Ford Authority is getting up close and personal with the Shinola Concept in the following this live photo gallery.

Captured at the 2021 Motor Bella show, the Lincoln Aviator Shinola Concept features a soft white paint inspired by Shinola’s iconic mother of pearl stone watch dials. The Black Label style grille features copper accents with a rose-gold hue inspired by the copper-plated structure that attaches to a Shinola Runwell bike seat. Similarly, the bezel around the projector within the headlight cluster includes this same copper accent, while the lower front fascia also features a strip of copper complimented by two supplementary copper details.

The concept also features roof rails finished in copper, while the mirror caps feature a copper accent. In addition, the front fender insert – which includes the Aviator nameplate badge – incorporates this same copper element, while the bottom of the doors feature a copper decorative strip.

And we can’t go without mentioning the 20-inch multi-spoke wheels that are, you guessed it, also finished in copper. These are the same rollers as the Bright-Machined Aluminum wheels offered on the production Aviator, but their silver finish has been replaced with the copper hue seen here.

At the rear, a decorative strip of copper is added to the liftgate, between the taillights, while another copper accent is placed in the lower fascia, between the reflectors. Additionally, the Lincoln Aviator Shinola Concept also features quad exhausts plated in the copper accent.

Inside, the Lincoln Aviator Shinola Concept features crème suede Shinola whiskey leather and a unique woven textile strip that takes cues from the Shinola brand stripe. However, the stripe has been modified to include additional blue tones as a way of “acknowledging Lincoln’s many signature blues,” according to Lincoln Motor Company.

Copper accents extend to the interior of the concept, as the material is woven into the braided aluminum trim covering the instrument panel and second-row console.

The front door showcases three different Shinola whiskey leather color tones – including the crème suede – mirroring the interior color combinations of the seats. Also note the speaker grilles, which are accented with copper elements.

Finally, the cargo area sports padded black cushioning. With 77.7 cubic feet of cargo volume behind the first row (with the second and third rows folded), 41.8 cubic feet of cargo volume behind the second row (with the third row folded), and 18.3 cubic feet of cargo behind the third row, the concept provides the same amount of volume as the production model. The model displayed at Motor Bella also featured a few of Shinola’s leather and fabric goods.

Why isn’t this concept in production? The vehicle is so much better than the regular production vehicles. Bonus Points: Put Coach Doors on this and you have my money. Work up a limited run of however many but PLEASE don’t call it a Continental Edition.
