Back in April, the FoMoCo catalog gained the same 17-inch wheel kit present on the Ford Bronco Sport First Edition, giving owners of other trims the chance to snag a set of the gloss black wheels. However, that same wheel kit has already received a small price increase, going from the original MSRP of $1,200 to $1,270, meaning that it’ll be a bit more expensive to upgrade to these fancier wheels for those that are in the market for an OEM alternative to aftermarket wheels.
The 2021-2022 Ford Bronco Sport 17-inch wheel kit is sold under part number M-1007K-BS17GB and includes a full set of four wheels, TPMS sensors with an activation tool kit, and four Bronco center caps. The kit does not include tires, as Ford recommends that owners go with the same Falken Wildpeak A/T3W rubber measuring 235/65/R17, which are also present on the factory First Edition models, making for the perfect match.
The Ford Bronco Sport First Edition was a limited-edition model offered only for the crossover’s first year of production in 2021. In the months since then, both the Bronco and Ford Maverick have become popular targets for upgraded parts and accessories as owners have sought out those goodies “at unprecedented rates,” according to The Blue Oval itself, which is precisely why the automaker is slowly shifting its focus away from on-road performance parts to off-road-focused offerings.
Meanwhile, the Bronco Sport has enjoyed its fair share of critical acclaim recently, including earning a spot on Consumer Reports‘ best new vehicles for teenagers list, as well as landing on that same consumer organization’s most satisfying smaller SUVs list, too.
