Watch Jimmy Fallon Rap About The 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning: Video

The 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning has officially arrived after the first shipments began a couple of weeks ago, while the very first delivery happened just last week. With demand far exceeding supply at the moment, that also means heavy markups for the new all-electric pickup, though judging by the glowing reviews the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning has received thus far, that hype appears to be warranted. At least, the F-150 Lightning is good enough to compel comedian and Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon to rap about it, anyway.

Fallon created a rather interesting song and music video discussing the many merits of the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning that he calls “Junk In My Frunk,” an ode to a vehicle that he’s admittedly obsessed with at the moment. We are talking about someone that actually owns an ICE-powered Ford F-150 that he uses to apparently haul pumpkins around while he listens to country music, so perhaps Fallon knows what he’s talking about here.

Fallon’s spoof of a music video supposedly stars a famous Swedish singing duo dubbed Frünké, which of course is just the comedian himself in some clever costumes. With a techno beat forming the backbone of this particular jam, the duo explains in layman’s terms exactly what a frunk is –  a front trunk – while also rapping about what it’s useful for.

Aside from putting an old fashioned boom box in there, Fallon also stows a guitar and amp, a basketball goal, boogey boards, a disco ball, camping gear, rubber duckies, a tiny version of himself, and of course, a hamster in the F-150 Lightning’s frunk. From watermelons to an entire computer lab, the point is to show that the frunk is useful for hauling just about anything one can imagine, which is just one of the many appealing features present in the electrified pickup.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
