Ford Motor Company China Sales Down 22 Percent In Q2 2022

Ford Motor Company China sales decreased 22 percent to 120,000 units during the second quarter of 2022. The automaker offers its two core brands – Ford and Lincoln – in the Asian country, as well as a China-only brand called JMC as part of the Jiangling-Ford joint venture.

“The pandemic’s resurgence in the past few months challenged us to overcome supply chain and logistics obstacles to positioning Ford for growth in the second half of the year,” said President and CEO of Ford China, Anning Chen. “Ford’s business recovery in China is proceeding at full speed as vehicle production has reached pre-pandemic capacity and customer traffic at our dealerships has progressively improved. Our new product lineup, including the all-new Ford Mondeo and all-new Lincoln Zephyr, has been well received by Chinese customers” he added.

Keep investing in China, instead of here, and one day we will all be sorry, when the Chinese government nationalizes all international companies, just like Russia is now.
