Roush CleanTech, LLC is recalling select 2016-2022 Ford Super Duty and Medium Duty E-350, E-450, F-450, F-550, F-53, F-59, F-650 and F-750 trucks over a fuel line corrosion issue.
The defect:Â in affected vehicles, the zinc-plating on the fuel return line may break away when contacted by road debris, causing two dissimilar metals on the fuel line to contact each other and corrode.
The hazards: a corroded fuel line can leak fuel and increase the risk of a fire.
Roush is not aware of any reports of accident or injury related to this issue.

Affected vehicles: select 2016-2022 Ford Super Duty and Medium Duty E-350, E-450, F-450, F-550, F-53, F-59, F-650 and F-750 trucks that were sold or registered in Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington D.C., West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
Number of vehicles affected: 3,245
The fix:Â dealers will replace the fuel return lines, free of charge.
Owners should: wait for communications from Ford, though the manufacturer has not yet provided a schedule for recall notification. Owners may also contact Roush’s customer service at 1-800-597-6874. The Roush reference number for this recall is VA-J2044.
