At the end of last year, ARB 4×4 Accessories, Australia’s largest manufacturer and distributor of 4×4 parts and accessories since 1975, launched a new line of bumpers and armor for the 2021 Ford Bronco. As Ford Authority reported earlier this year, this armor was a joint effort between Ford and ARB, bringing a new set of choices for bumpers, underbody protection, a differential cover and rock sliders to the market. At SEMA 2021, Ford Authority got up close and personal with a 2021 Bronco Outer Banks outfitted with ARB’s custom armor.
Up front, this 2021 Ford Bronco sports an ARB Summit Bumper, which supports a WARN winch and offers extreme off-road protection, twin jack points and recovery points, all without compromising exterior parking and adaptive cruise control sensors. Lighting the way are ARB Intensity Solis driving lights that feature “virtually indestructible” polycarbonate lenses. The SUV’s more sensitive bits are protected by laser-cut ARB Under Vehicle Protection panels, along with ARB Rock Sliders and Differential Cover.
This 2021 Ford Bronco Outer Banks rides on ARB’s Old Man Emu (OME) 4×4 suspension. Out back, it wears an ARB rear bumper, which features two jack points and incorporates twin chassis-mounted recovery points while accommodating the stock tow bar, wiring and parking sensors. The kitted-out Bronco also has an ARB jack and jack mounts.
Inside, this Bronco Outer Banks is set up with ARB’s Outback Solutions Modular Roller Drawer systems, which adds 3.74 cubic feet of storage to the SUV’s interior. It also has a handy ARB Zero Fridge Freezer, which functions as both a fridge for drinks and a freezer for things like meat. The temperature can be controlled via the panel affixed to the front of it, or via the app.
