Ford Motor Company Mexico Sales Up 40 Percent In August 2022

Ford Motor Company Mexico sales increased 40 percent to 3,712 units in August 2022 compared to August 2021 results. Sales increased at both FoMoCo brands – the namesake Ford brand, as well as the Lincoln luxury arm.

Ford sales increased 37.47 percent to 3,577 units:

Lincoln sales increased 136.84 percent to 135 units:

In the first eight months of the 2022 calendar year, Ford Motor Mexico sales increased nine percent to 27,173 units.

The Ford Authority Take

Ford Motor Company Mexico sales increased significantly in August, representing the fourth consecutive month of increased sales volume. The positive performance was driven by a significant improvement in unit inventory. In fact, FoMoCo’s 3,712 deliveries in August closely follows the 3,787 deliveries the manufacturer achieved in July, which is the automaker’s best monthly performance so far in 2022.

The automaker’s strong performance in Mexico was led by the best-selling Ford F-Series, which posted a significant triple-digit increase that continues to cement itself as the company’s most popular nameplate. Also worth noting is the Ford Ranger, which posted a notable increase that helped it regain its position as the second best-selling model during month.

In addition, all Lincoln models were in the green, enabling the impressive triple-digit growth rate.

    Ford makes 25K Mavericks per month. Tesla makes 21,000 EVs per week just in China. That does not include texas berlin california etc. How many F150 Lightnings per week? How many Mach E’s? How many Mavericks? Why is it Tesla can make so many vehicles per week and Ford is not even close.

      Ford doesn’t make 25K Mavericks a month. That would be 300K a year. They just closed the order bank with 86k new orders. They wish they could build that many.
