The lack of discount offers for the Lincoln Aviator during September 2022 is the result of the luxury crossover seeing healthy demand amidst tight supply, a circumstance brought about by the side effects COVID-19 pandemic.

It is also worth noting that Lincoln parent, Ford Motor Company, continues to grapple with ongoing supply shortages, including but not limited to the microchip shortage. This turn of events has caused the automaker to selectively allocate supplies to its more profitable models, such as full-size trucks and SUVs.

The Lincoln Aviator recently received several updates for the Chinese market, with most of the changes being focused on the crossover’s interior. Sources familiar with the matter tell Ford Authority that the North American version of the 2023 Lincoln Aviator will receive some minor updates for the 2023 model year ahead of a refresh for the 2024 model year. The refresh will undoubtedly make the Aviator an even more attractive product, which in turn should further increase demand. However, that will only be helpful if FoMoCo can boost supply by increasing production volume.
