Ford Motor Company is recalling select 2022 Ford F-150 models over a parking lamp flickering issue.
The defect: in affected vehicles, the parking lights may flicker when the headlights are activated. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.”
The hazards: flickering parking lights can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
Ford is not aware of any reports of accidents or injuries related to this condition.
Components: LED Driver module
Affected vehicles: select 2022 Ford F-150 models produced between March 11th, 2022, and July 23rd, 2022.
Number of vehicles affected:Â 77,804
The fix: dealers will replace or reprogram the LED Driver module, free of charge.
Owners should: wait for communications from Ford, which will begin October 31st, 2022. The Ford reference number for this recall is 22C22.

I would like to know when recall 22C22 will be resolved. I have bargen for a new Ford f-150, but can’t bring it home til this recall is fixed.

So I purchased a 2022 F150 XLT Sherrod Eclipse brand new in Nov. 2022. My warranty date is incorrect as well as I have not received my New Vehicle Ford Pass Points. I have never received any “info” from Ford referencing my new vehicle purchase. I am told by that until this “Parking light” Flicker issue can be resolve Ford will not truly recognize I have ownership of the vehicle. I am in NC and purchased the Ford in Tenn. I am told by local Ford Service rep that someone is feeding me “crap” as I should have been recognized as the owner when I purchased. What do you guys think? FYI, Ford Corporate has been no help and has never contracted me with any answers. Ford Corp Customer Service basically sucks !!!
