The Ford Authority Take

After two consecutive months in the red, Ford Brazil sales posted a healthy increase during September, representing a new attempt of the brand to bottom out in the South American country. As such, this positive result represents Ford’s second increase in Brazilian market so far this calendar year, after June’s slight increase ended 29 months in the red.

The improvement in Ford Brazil sales during September 2022 was driven by stabilizing sales of the best-selling Ford Ranger compared to previous months, as well as additional volume from the Transit, which had one of its best-ever months in Brazil.

For its part, the Mustang was the only model of the brand that managed to increase its sales year-over-year.
