Ford Bronco Badlands 17-Inch Wheel Kit Revealed

Those looking for official Blue Oval parts and accessories for their Ford Bronco certainly don’t lack for options, as the automaker’s catalog has recently expanded to include a bevy of goods including the Sasquatch Package fender flare kit, red and orange beadlock trim ring kits, a Dyno Gray 17-inch wheel kit, a two-inch lift kit, Power Packs for the SUV’s Ford 2.3L I-4 EcoBoost and 2.7L V6 EcoBoost, a roof-mounted off-road light kit, a tire pressure monitoring kit, tube doors, a functional bead lock ring kit, an axle-back exhaust system, and an air induction system, to name just a few. Now, that catalog continues to expand with the addition of the new Ford Bronco Badlands 17-inch wheel kit.

Listed in the Ford Performance catalog under part number M-1007K-DC178B, the Ford Bronco Badlands 17-inch wheel kit includes a grand total of five beadlock-capable wheels and fits both 2021 and 2022 models of all types. The wheels – which are the same units found on the Badlands trimmed SUV – are finished in gloss black and come with Carbonized Gray trim rings, and measure in at 17×8 inches.

Beadlocks have become popular with off-roaders in recent years because they lock the bead of a tire to the wheel, which offers a number of advantages. Beadlocks allow owners to drop the air pressure in a tire to a very low level without having to worry about the tire slipping off the wheel, increasing the tire’s contact patch and improving traction on a variety of slippery surfaces such as rocks, sand, and snow.

Suitable for off-road purposes, this wheel kit also comes with five tire pressure monitoring sensors, an activation tool, and five wheel center caps bearing the Bronco logo. The kit retails for $2,670, but isn’t yet available for purchase as of this writing.
