October 2022 represents another month of non-existent Ford Bronco discount offers. The circumstance comes as no surprise given that the reborn Bronco continues to be in extremely high demand and very limited in supply.
The lack of Bronco incentives is nothing new, as it has been the case since the SUV’s launch, as can be seen in our coverage below:
- March – no incentives
- April – no incentives
- May – no incentives
- June – no incentives
- July – no incentives
- August – no incentives
- September – no incentives
- October – no incentives
It is also worth noting that Ford Motor Company continues to grapple with ongoing supply shortages, including but not limited to the microchip shortage. In fact, many Bronco reservation holders have waited for months and, in some cases, over a year to get their Bronco. As a result, Ford is currently focused on filling existing Bronco orders, as opposed to producing units for dealer inventory. To ensure this, FoMoCo has even limited 2023 Bronco orders to existing reservation or order holders.
In addition, Bronco sales are very healthy, with The Blue Oval’s four-by-four outselling the Toyota 4Runner while closing the volume gap with the Jeep Wrangler during the third quarter of 2022. Interestingly, these sales are mostly to reservation or order holders, meaning that the Bronco would sell even more if dealers had vehicles available in inventory (and on the lot) to sell.
