Ford Credit continues to perform well in recent surveys, earning a first-place finish in J.D. Power’s 2022 Canada Dealer Financing Satisfaction Study and 2022 U.S. End of Lease Satisfaction Study, as well as third in the 2022 U.S. Dealer Financing Satisfaction Study. FoMoCo’s financing arm is also in the midst of some major changes amid a quickly changing market, as it’s working to open its own online bank that would finance more than just vehicles, though it won’t be reorganizing around the automaker’s upcoming split into Ford Model e and Ford Blue. Now, Ford Credit Britain is actually handing out refunds to customers to celebrate another important milestone.
Ford Credit Britain has reached the two million customer mark for its Ford Options product in the UK, and as such, it celebrated by awarding the first 30 customers past that particular mark a refund of their first monthly payment. Ford Credit was the first automotive finance company to offer flexible Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) products in the UK back in 1992, which offers customers three options at the end of their contract – they can get a new vehicle, keep their existing one, or give their vehicle back.
“I’m over the moon to be lucky enough to be receiving a refund during these trying times,” said Blue Oval customer Jonathan Taylor-Dunn. “Having had previous experience with Ford Options and knowing the ease of application, as well as the after sales support, it was an easy decision for me to use Ford Options once again. Everything was set up, submitted and successfully completed within a very small window of time, and I was driving away my brand-new vehicle shortly after.”
