Heavily Modified 2018 Ford F-350 Platinum Up For Auction

Ford Authority has featured several uniquely modified F-Series pickups in the past as they’ve popped up for auction, including a 2020 F-150 prerunner with a host of off-road-ready modifications, and a quirky, six-door 1997 Ford F-350 with a nine-inch lift and an ultra-long cab. Another unique pickup, this time a 2018 Ford F-350 Super Duty Platinum, is currently up for grabs on Cars & Bids, boasting all sorts of off-road modifications.

This 2018 Ford F-350 Platinum is finished in black with a matching black interior, but one look at it reveals that it is extremely far from stock. In fact, it was modified by DEFCO Trucks, a Colorado-based truck modification outfit, with its BA350 kit. The BA350 includes 20-inch WELD racing wheels finished in red, a Superlift six-inch tubular four-link lift kit with front and rear King adjustable shocks, a DEFCO body kit, aftermarket sound system and various Rigid lighting elements. It also has dual steering stabilizers, dropped pitman arms and its underbody hardware has been painted black.

The Platinum Ultimate Package grants this 2018 Ford F-350 a wide variety of features right from the factory, including adaptive cruise control with brake support, lane-keeping alert, a Driver Alert System, twin-panel moonroof and Ultimate Trailer Tow Camera system. It also has the FX4 Off-Road Package, an engine bloc heater, twin extra-heavy duty alternators and a tailgate step. Power is sourced from the Ford 6.7L Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 engine.

This 2018 Ford F-350 has had just one owner, who put 17,200 miles on the odometer. According to its window sticker, the pickup originally sold for $78,140 without the modifications. At the time of this writing, the high bid is $35,678 and climbing. The auction will close on October 24th, 2022.
