The 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E lineup adds two new colors to its roster – Vapor Blue Metallic and Carbonized Gray Metallic. Here’s our first look at the Carbonized Gray Metallic color option.

Tagged with paint code M7, Carbonized Gray Metallic is a no-cost option available for the entire 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E trim level lineup, and can be had with all interior colorways. The interior color options for the 2023 Mustang Mach-E are as follows:

  • Rapid Red Metallic
  • Shadow Black

  • Vapor Blue Metallic (new for 2023)
  • Carbonized Gray Metallic (new for 2023)

2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E interior colorways:

Speaking of colors, the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E dropped the black-painted roof available for the 2022 model year in order to accommodate the full-glass roof, which is now standard for the GT and GT Performance Edition models. Other changes include the addition of standard all-wheel-drive to the Mustang Mach-E California Route 1 models, along with a substantial price increase across the board, adding between $6,000 and $8,500 to the price of the electric crossover, depending on trim. Additionally, there is a new Nite Pony Package, which adds a handful of dark-themed exterior accents to the Mustang Mach-E.

Customers interested in securing a 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E can expect a delivery time of 18 to 22 weeks for the Select, California Route 1 and GT trim levels, while Premium models can take up to 24 weeks to be delivered.

This color looks like the Sterling Gray etallic of my 2014 Fusion Hybrid.

Carbonized Grey was offered in the Mach-e in 2021. It’s a returning color, not a new one.

My 2002 Mustang GT was Mineral Grey, it looked great in all lighting conditions. I Wish Ford could bring this color back. It was very popular.
