Since its launch, the Ford Bronco has quickly become one of the most popular vehicles on the market to modify – as well as one of the most heavily supported vehicles when it comes to aftermarket and OEM offerings in that regard. Most recently, the rugged SUV has gained upgrades like a Ford Performance two-inch lift kit, a Roush axle-back exhaust system, and a Roush air induction system. Those seeking to extract more performance from their Ford Bronco can also purchase calibrations for the SUV from Ford Performance for both the Ford 2.3L I-4 EcoBoost and Ford 2.7L V6 EcoBoost, and now, Roush has released its own 2.7L V6 Performance Pac Level 1 kit.
Roush’s new Level 1 Performance Pac for the Bronco includes a host of upgraded parts, including a high-flow, washable and reusable performance air filter that features improved airflow compared to the stock setup, as well as a cold-air kit that maintains factory water fording capability, and a Roush Diagnostic Tool (RDT) loaded with a new calibration that revises throttle and boost mapping for increased horsepower, torque, and throttle response throughout the RPM range.
The results are undoubtedly impressive – Roush’s Level 1 Performance Pac extracts an additional 40 horsepower and 70 pound-feet of torque from the Bronco’s V6 powerplant, which on premium fuel equates to 370 horsepower and 485 pound-feet of torque. The calibration also eliminates auto start/stop, and the included filter is washable with no oiling required. The kit comes with a three-year/36,000-mile limited powertrain warranty, though it isn’t approved for sale or installation in California or states that require an EO number.
Designed for use with 91+ octane pump gas, the Roush Ford Bronco 2.7L V6 Performance Pac Level 1 retails for $999.99 and is available to purchase now.
