Watch Special Ford Towing Livestream Event Right Here: Video

The 2023 Ford Super Duty lineup debuted a short while ago, with the all-new pickup gaining a ton of new features designed to improve towing, hauling, and overall functionality for owners and business who depend on their trucks for their livelihoods. As Ford Authority previously reported, pickups from The Blue Oval are generally among the top considered models buyers look for when they’re in the market for a new vehicle. Additionally, Ford trucks helped the brand maintain high loyalty rates in a recent J.D. Power survey. With so many current and future truck owners out there, the automaker has revealed that it will host a livestream event mostly dedicated to towing tips.

At this point, it isn’t exactly clear what the company intends to show off, if anything. The event is described as a livestream hosted by company experts who will go over the fundamentals of vehicle towing before tackling more advanced subjects like the available tech now offered on its modern lineup. But a portion will also be dedicated to demonstrating techniques for experienced drivers too. Although the company obviously sells a full roster of vehicles capable of towing, the description specifically mentions the Ford Maverick and the 2023 Ford Super Duty. In addition to sharing tips about towing, the experts featured in the video will also host a live Q&A session in real-time.

The 2023 Ford Super Duty introduced a host of new and updated towing tech into the lineup, including Onboard Scales with Smart Hitch, a 360-Trailer Camera System, Blind Spot Information for fifth wheel and gooseneck configurations, the all-new Tailgate Down Camera and Tailgate Down Reverse Sensing System, plus Trailer Navigation. For the all-new Super Duty lineup, the company’s goal is for owners to have zero blind-spots when towing long trailers.

As Ford Authority previously reported, the 2023 lineup boasts a number of superlatives when it comes to towing and payload capacities and capabilities. The event is scheduled to begin at 7 PM eastern standard time and will likely show off some of that capability, although the truck has already generated a record number of orders ahead of its on-sale date, as buyers are seemingly already aware of the next-generation can accomplish.

We’ll likely have more on this event, so subscribe to Ford Authority for continuous Ford news coverage.
