Ford Motor Company is recalling select 2021-2022 Ford Bronco models over a side impact sensor issue.
The defect: in affected vehicles, the right or left side impact sensors may not be properly secured to the vehicle.
The hazards: an improperly secured side impact sensor may cause the air bags to unintentionally deploy, or not to deploy as intended, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
Ford is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to this issue.
Components: side impact sensor attachments
Affected vehicles: select 2021-2022 Ford Bronco models produced at the Michigan Assembly plant from February 19th, 2021, to September 16th, 2021.
Number of vehicles affected: 1,226
The fix: dealers will inspect the side impact sensor attachments and repair, as necessary, free of charge.
Owners should: wait for communications from Ford, which will begin on January 23rd, 2023. The Ford reference number for this recall is 22S77.

37000 miles no quality issues at all. Biggest issue is with jeep owners trying to find any problem with the bronco because they are paranoid
